Salary: £32,000 - 32,000 per year Requirements: We are looking for a self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Technical Support Engineer. The ideal candidate should possess strong troubleshooting abilities, analytical skills, and a wealth of technical knowledge. Experience in a Tier 1 support role for at least one year is required. Key skills include: Virtualisation: Xen Server, VMWare VoIP: Asterisk/FreePBX, with SIP knowledge as an advantage Office 365 Microsoft Licensing, NCE, SPLA Azure Strong network design and diagnostics (VPNs, VLANs, WiFi) Commercial awareness Hardware knowledge (Watchguard, Draytek, Dell Servers and Switches, Yealink, Cisco) A full clean driving license is necessary. Additionally, candidates must be able to reliably commute to Huddersfield, HD7 5JN, or plan to relocate before starting work. Responsibilities: As a Technical Support Engineer, I will require you to: Answer customer questions and resolve problems related to product operation. Analyze issues and solutions, making recommendations for process improvement. Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers both verbally and in writing. Collaborate as part of a team or work independently as needed. Conduct testing procedures to identify problems and implement appropriate solutions. Train users on the proper operation of equipment.
