Your Role
We’re on the lookout for a talented Senior Product Designer, Vice President to join our Global Collateral team in Manchester (hybrid). If you are a highly skilled designer with a knack for collaboration and a passion for creating impactful user experiences, we want to hear from you!
Your Impact
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:
* User-Centred Design: Lead with a user-first approach, ensuring all design choices are informed by user needs and insights from research.
* Journey Mapping: Analyze end-to-end user journeys to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement, aligning teams on a shared vision.
* Interaction and UI Design: Master complex web interfaces and workflows, creating functional and visually engaging products.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to transform complex requirements into clear design solutions.
* Proficiency in Design Tools: Utilize advanced skills in tools like Figma and Miro to create high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes.
* Design System Knowledge: Contribute to a design system that maintains visual consistency across interfaces.
* Complex Systems Knowledge: Understand the challenges of designing complex systems and distill intricate requirements into user-friendly solutions.
* Effective Communication and Storytelling: Articulate design concepts to diverse stakeholders, using storytelling to engage and align others with the product vision.
* Mentorship and Leadership: Foster a culture of continuous learning and collaboration within the team.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* A degree in User Experience Design, Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related discipline.
* Professional experience in digital product design, preferably in regulated spaces like finance, health, or insurance.
* Research experience is a plus.
