PortmanDentex is a leading dental group with over 370 practices across the UK and Ireland, committed to exceptional dentistry and patient-first care. As a Service Desk Engineer, you’ll be the first point of contact for IT support across PortmanDentex, helping colleagues resolve issues quickly and confidently. You’ll take full ownership of tickets, ensuring every interaction is handled with care and professionalism, and keep systems running smoothly while meeting service standards. You’ll be part of a fast-paced, friendly team that values great service and strong relationships, with exposure to a wide range of technologies and deployment projects.

Responsibilities
* Serve as the first point of contact for IT support across PortmanDentex
* Take full ownership of tickets, resolving issues quickly and professionally
* Ensure systems run smoothly and meet service standards
* Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and participate in deployment projects
Qualifications
* At least two years in a fast-paced Service Desk environment, handling 350–400 tickets a week
* Strong incident and problem management skills, with a focus on smooth resolutions and user satisfaction
* Experience with helpdesk platforms, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, antivirus tools, MDM systems, and both server and desktop support
* Comfort with basic network troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of connectivity issues
* Understanding of asset management and ability to stay organized
* Clear, friendly communication; ability to translate technical language for colleagues
