2. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key part in the Credit Control team, contributing to our mission of continuous improvement and financial accuracy.
Reporting directly to the Cash Receipting Officer, the Cash Allocation Clerk will support the Finance and Credit Control teams by receipting cash in Sage Intacct, managing allocations to invoices, and maintaining clear and accurate financial records.
This is a part-time, permanent position based in Datchet, ideally suited to someone looking for hours that fit around school runs — 10:00am to 2:00pm, Monday to Friday. The role offers £12.89 per hour, along with the opportunity to work within a supportive and values-led environment.
You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy working with numbers, solving discrepancies, and supporting a busy finance function where collaboration and accuracy go hand in hand.
What you’ll be doing:
* Accurately allocate incoming payments against customer accounts.
* Reconcile customer accounts and resolve unallocated or misallocated payments.
* Investigate and resolve queries quickly and professionally.
* Maintain accurate records in line with company policies and audit requirements.
* Liaise with internal departments and customers to ensure smooth financial processes.
* Support wider finance activities, including reporting and reconciliations.
Your expertise will directly support Atlas’ financial health and contribute to delivering the best possible service for our clients.

4. You’re a confident and detail-oriented finance professional with a proven track record in cash allocation or accounts receivable. You combine strong numerical skills with great communication, ensuring accuracy while building effective working relationships.
Required Skills, Attributes & Experience:
* Experience in cash allocation, accounts receivable, or similar finance roles.
* Proficiency in Sage Intacct or other accounting systems.
* Strong numerical accuracy, reconciliation, and attention to detail.
* Skilled in Microsoft Excel and comfortable managing large data sets.
* A proactive, problem-solving mindset with excellent organisational skills.
* Clear communicator – both internally and externally.
* A true team player who enjoys contributing to a collaborative environment.
