Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mobile Fitter required to join a leading mechanical engineering supplier.
About the role
The successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mobile Fitter will provide mechanical repair, service and maintenance on various pump systems including submersible, hydraulic, diesel engines, electric motors, and other similar pump solutions at customer sites in and around North Wales. Full product training is provided.
The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mobile Fitter will ideally have a mechanical service background in mechanical engineering products such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, plant machinery, agricultural machinery and similar heavy/industrial mechanical or plant engineering equipment.

Responsibilities
* Perform mechanical repair, service and maintenance on various pump systems at customer sites in North Wales.
* Undertake planned and preventative maintenance at customer sites across North Wales and at the workshop in Conwy.
* Install pump systems, diesel engines and pipework in all forms of the manufacturing industry.
* Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various pump equipment.
* Liaise with various engineering departments.
Requirements
* Mechanical service background in mechanical engineering products such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, plant machinery, agricultural machinery and similar heavy/industrial mechanical or plant engineering equipment.
* Hold an Engineering Qualification in mechanical engineering / plant maintenance or similar.
* Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Hydraulic Engineer, Mobile Engineer, Mechanical Fitter, Workshop Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Installation Engineer, Pump Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or similar.
* Ability to maintain good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
* Willingness to work out of the workshop in Conwy and visit customer sites in the surrounding area.
