An ambitious and high-performing Outstanding secondary school in Norwich is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join its successful Science department from September. This is a full-time, permanent position, ideal for a teacher who is passionate about delivering engaging science lessons and supporting pupils to achieve excellent academic outcomes.

About the Role

You will play an important role in maintaining high standards of teaching and learning while supporting pupils of all abilities to make strong academic progress.

Key responsibilities include:

* Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

* Supporting pupils in developing strong theoretical and practical understanding

* Preparing pupils for GCSE Science examinations

* Delivering safe and effective practical experiments

* Monitoring pupil progress and providing constructive feedback

* Contributing to departmental planning and curriculum development

* Supporting enrichment opportunities such as STEM activities

* Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment


Experience and Skills

The successful candidate will:

* Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

* Have strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics

* Be confident teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4

* Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills

* Be able to inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for scientific learning

* Work effectively as part of a collaborative department

* Be committed to ongoing professional development
