This is a newly created role, a strategic hire to support the ongoing development of this high growth business. You will work closely with the Managing Director, providing insight to support business decision making, in return you will receive autonomy, hybrid working and flexibility around days and hours worked.Key Responsibilities
* Lead all day-to-day financial operations, control and reporting, including monthly management accounts and sales ledger oversight
* Deliver budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow planning, providing clear insight on performance, risks and future outlook to the board
* Oversee commercial and project accounting, including job costing. Profitability and budget reconciliation, improving visibility of margins and resourcing
* Act as a strategic finance partner to the MD and senior leadership team, supporting informed decision making and building commercial awareness across the agency
* Maintain and improve financial systems, controls and compliance, including VAT, payroll, reconcilliations and year end processes.
Key Skills preferred
* Part or Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA,ACCA) or qualified by experience
* Commercially minded, pragmatic and confident working autonomously
* Able to balance strong attention to detail seeing the bigger picture
* Advanced Excel skills and confident with standard office software
