We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Service Manager to join a high-profile digital programme within the public sector. This is a key role focused on ensuring the effective delivery, performance, and continuous improvement of critical IT services.
The Role
You will take ownership of IT service delivery across complex digital environments, ensuring services are reliable, compliant, and continuously improving. Working closely with operational and technical teams, you will drive service excellence across multiple platforms and channels.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end IT service management across live digital services
* Ensure services meet agreed SLAs, KPIs, and performance standards
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives and service optimisation
* Manage incident, problem, change, and configuration processes
* Conduct root cause analysis and lead service investigations
* Manage service risks, governance, and reporting
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers
* Provide leadership and direction to service teams
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in a Senior IT Service Management role
* Strong knowledge of ITIL frameworks and best practices
* Experience working in large-scale, complex digital or public sector environments
* Strong understanding of service governance, risk, and compliance
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong analytical capability
