TrueLight, a BOS Innovations company, is seeking adaptable and hands-on Software Developers to join our industrial automation team focused on machine vision for advancing quality inspection and robotic guidance. We are building out our software capability to support both our strategic product roadmap — including AI-powered 3D weld inspection, robotic guidance, and machine vision quality systems — and internal software initiatives such as dashboards, data management, and automation workflows.
We currently have two positions, one junior/entry level and one intermediate/senior.
This role is full-stack: you’ll work across front-end, back-end, databases, and deployment pipelines, contributing to innovative solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
* Junior Developers focus on execution and learning, building features and growing technical depth.
* Intermediate Developers operate as independent contributors, owning modules and supporting best practices.
* Senior Developers balance coding with technical oversight, setting standards, ensuring governance, mentoring others, and shaping the long-term software roadmap.
What you’ll bring:
* Experience with modern programming languages and frameworks (C#, Python, TypeScript, React/Vue, .NET, SQL).
* Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and CI/CD workflows.
* A problem-solving mindset and ability to collaborate across teams.
* Nice to have: Exposure to AI/ML integration, industrial automation, robotics, edge computing, or data visualization.
Wage:
* $32-40/hour – Junior Level
* $40-50/hour – Intermediate Level
* $50-60/hour – Senior Level
Any hours worked over 40 in a week are paid at 1.5 times your regular hourly rate, 3% company matching RRSP
