Trade Marketing and Communications Manager
Carl Kammerling International (CKI) is the home of the market leading C.K Tools brand. We specialise in the design, manufacture and distribution of high-quality hand tools and security products worldwide. Founded in Germany in 1904, we are a team orientated business determined to continually improve ourselves and our products and are proud to have been at the forefront of hand tool innovation for almost 120 years.
We are looking to recruit a success driven, creative and enthusiastic Trade Marketing and Communications Manager to join our busy and energetic marketing department at our Head Office based in Pwllheli, North Wales.
In this exciting and varied role, you will manage the company’s communications and trade marketing efforts to increase awareness and improve understanding of Carl Kammerling International, its brands and products and to increase sales through the delivery of effective promotions.
The key to being successful within this role is the ability to:
·Develop effective promotional campaigns – combine an understanding of how our sales team sell and how our customers buy to create compelling sales propositions.
·Manage and develop all social media content and direct creative execution to provide a consistent, targeted, and impactful message.
·Create a social media strategy to support all product launches, campaigns and promotions.
·To manage and develop the CKI corporate website to increase traffic, ensuring it is up-to-date and relevant to customers.
·Create and deliver regular, ongoing email campaigns to promote the company’s goods and services.
·Manage our multiple websites to ensure effective communication with our customers and end users – as the first port of call for information for many our websites need to be up-to-date, interesting and generate effective sales leads.
·Design and produce effective customer communication – we communicate with our customers in an increasingly diverse way; merchandisers, catalogues, brochures, email, social media and face-to-face all play a part. You will play a lead role in all channels.
·Manage our sales team’s presentation portal – with up-to-date promotions, marketing communications and product ranges, a vital link in the success of our business.
The overall goal of the role is to help increase product sales, so you need to be commercially focused with a good understanding of how to drive distribution profitably into various market segments.
