On behalf of an established Nursery in the Wokingham area we are actively recruiting for a passionate Room Leader to join their friendly team on a full time, permanent basis. Nursery Room Leader: Vacancy reference: PK62743 The Nursery is a specially designed space that ensures a secure and engaging environment for early learning, featuring tailored rooms to promote independence and learning. The site is ideally located just off of the A329M, with easy access to Wokingham, Bracknell and Reading. This excellent Nursery is a part of an established, Berkshire based Nursery Group, and has its own car park, a supportive staff team, and a large, well-maintained garden. As Room Leader you will join the leadership team and support with the day to day management of the site and your specific room. Within this you will help to lead a team of dedicated staff, ensuring the highest standard and quality of care. You will be familiar with all educational standards and requirements, and able to step in to support the Nursery Assistants. This is a full time, permanent Room Leader position working Monday to Friday, and paying £(phone number removed) per annum This is a full time, permanent role (preferably for pre-school age room) paying a starting salary of up to £30,000+ per annum working for a supportive and established employer. Experienced Level 3 Nursery Practitioners and Room Leaders with at least NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Education / CACHE are encouraged to apply. Room Leader profile:
* Level 3 Childcare / CACHE / Early Years Qualification
* Strong leadership skills with previous leadership experience within a Nursery setting (E.g. Room Leader, Third in charge, Deputy Nursery Manager)
* Excellent knowledge and understanding the of EYFS
Room Leader duties will include:
* Support other Nursery Assistants and work as a team to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children within the setting
* Keep a record of the children’s progress to share with parents and other carers
* Creating an environment that meets the needs of the children by considering their cultural and medical needs
* Liaising with Parents and Carers to ensure a high level of involvement and satisfaction
