Harehills Primary School have a new and exciting opportunity for a very experienced and talented Specialist Learning Assistant SEND to join our team. You will be required to take an active role within one of our SEND provision bases as part of a wonderful team. This is a permanent role with a 6 month probationary period to start ASAP.
This will include:
Supporting children and young people who have a range of significant and often complex SEND
Working within a team to overcome barriers to learning and enable every child to make progress
Inspire & empower children of all abilities and ensure they can take an active part in a broad and balanced curriculum
Building effective relationships with other agencies, colleagues, children and families
Implementing bespoke interventions, gathering information and contributing towards planning and assessments
