What Will Make Your Days Exciting as a Counter Sales Representative at Bumper to Bumper:
* Greet all customers (in person or over the phone) with a positive, engaging, and welcoming attitude.
* Sell and support a diversified line of products via phone, fax, email, and over-the-counter, promoting Private Brands and eCommerce channels whenever possible. Deliver a high level of customer service and support promotions and upselling opportunities.
* Handle customer transactions, including sales, returns, and defectives, in a timely manner.
* Ensure customer parts orders are accurately filled and delivered promptly.
* Reconcile transaction history and cash drawer at the end of each shift.
* Operate the store point of sale system (PartsWatch), internet and paper catalogues to search for parts and customer accounts, invoice, and pull orders.
* Assist with merchandising activities, maintain standards of appearance, coordinate with employees for plan-o-grams, product presentation, inventory management, signage, and initiatives to enhance customer experience and maximize inventory turns.
* Follow all policies and procedures related to cash, credit, check, refund, and return policies.
* Collaborate with management to address customer service issues, complaints, and business opportunities.
* Contribute proactively to branch sales and profitability improvements.
* Adhere to inventory control programs, in-stock standards, and operational procedures.
* Communicate effectively with team members, management, and customers.
* Support store functions including warehouse activities and product delivery/pickup as needed.
* Maintain a positive attitude and be an ambassador for the Bumper to Bumper brand.
What Will Make You the Ideal Candidate:
* Automotive Parts experience in the aftermarket (Jobber) parts industry (minimum 1 year).
