We count on our site reliability engineers (SREs) to empower users with a rich feature set, high availability, and stellar performance levels to pursue their goals.
About The Role
This is a hands-on role. Working as part of the Software Engineering team, you will run the SRE function on a day-to-day basis working closely with the Head of Engineering providing SRE expertise whilst collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop real-world solutions and positive user experiences.
The successful candidate will review, lead & drive our strategic approach to the maturity, security, performance and scalability of our software & services across our cloud infrastructure. You will enjoy a high degree of autonomy in which to shape the future direction of the team using your extensive background and skills in:
* Site Reliability Engineering/DevOps/Infrastructure/Platform management
* Development and deployment of APIs using containerised environments such as Kubernetes
* Designing/implementing CI/CD pipelines
* Implementing/enhancing IaC specifically Terraform.
* Collaborating with business stakeholders in an agile environment
* Leading, coaching and mentoring team members to achieve success
* AWS and its services, particularly IAM, S3, EKS, Networking.
* CloudFormation/CDK
* Exposure to working with serverless computing
