Experienced Teaching Assistant – Immediate Start

Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary/secondary school in Kettering. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in pupils’ learning and development.
The role will involve supporting the class teacher, working with groups or individual pupils, and assisting with behaviour management and classroom organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
* Support pupils in class and in small group interventions
* Assist the teacher in delivering engaging, inclusive lessons
* Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs (if required)
* Help manage behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
* Prepare classroom resources and help with general admin duties

Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting
* Strong understanding of classroom support, differentiation and SEN support
* Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)
* A patient, flexible and enthusiastic attitude
