Job Description
* Assisting in the preparation and processing of financial statements and reports
* Performing data entry and managing accounting figures and financial records
* Supporting the finance team in managing, processing and troubleshooting various accounts and transactions
* Performing administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
* Processing invoices and company expenses
* Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
* Maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers
* Cooperating with the Accounting & Finance department to improve financial procedures
The Successful Applicant
A successful 'Accounts Assistant' should have:
* A good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
* An analytical mind with excellent data collection and analysis skills
* High proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with relevant software (e.g. SAP)
* Good organisational skills for maintaining clear and precise financial records
* Excellent communication skills for interacting with colleagues and clients
* A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
