CLEANROOM SUPERVISOR
Overall Purpose of Role:
* Cleanroom Supervisor
Role Objective:
* Working Supervisor (50% Supervisor, 50% ESA Technician)
Key Responsibilities:
* ESA Technician Activities
* Capacity planning for Cleanroom
* Achieving monthly delivery targets
* Planning/scheduling day to day departmental activities
* Identifying capacity concerns and resolution
* Maintaining Production Database for program managers
* Photographing assemblies during build and pre-ship, and downloading to relevant files
* Chasing shortages and queries
* Ensuring quality and H&S practices are followed by all operators
* Ensuring equipment/tools are in calibration and materials are in shelf-life
* Communicate new processes to staff
* Upkeep of customers paperwork, including inspection of final paperwork before packaging and dispatch
* Organise overtime
* Authorise departmental holiday requests – including inspectors
* Raise Certificate of Conformance
* Attending meetings as required
* Producing monthly progress reports
* Continually identifying areas for improvement/efficiency drives
* Ad-hoc duties
Qualifications Knowledge & Skills:
* ESA Certification Preferred
* IPC Certification would be considered
* A good knowledge in soldering and wiring practices.
* Proven practical, hands-on ability.
* Good general computing skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.
Location:The role is based in Havant
Working Hours: 37.25 hours per week over 4.5 days, with the last Friday of every month off. Hours are 7.30am to 4.15pm Monday to Thursdays and Fridays 8.00am to 12.15pm.
Benefits: In-house Training, 20 days holiday, plus Bank Holidays and the company closes from Christmas to New Year which is not taken out of holiday entitlement.
