About the Role As a Production Engineer, you'll play a critical role in maintaining seamless production by responding swiftly to breakdowns, reducing downtime, and ensuring reliability through planned maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
Respond quickly to machinery breakdowns to minimise downtime
Conduct planned maintenance to improve equipment reliability
Support in commissioning new equipment and upgrading existing machinery
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with food safety requirements
Hands-on involvement, suited to those who excel in dynamic, fast-paced settings
About You This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong engineering background in industrial or manufacturing environments, preferably within food production.
Key Skills
Strong Mechanical or Electrical skills
Experience in food production is ideal but not essential
Hands-on experience with minimum NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Elecrtrical engineering qualification
Experience in a planned and reactive maintenance
Working Hours
Seven-day fortnight: Work 7 out of 14 days, with alternating weeks of days and nights shifts
12-hour shifts (7am - 7pm)
