What you will do
* Manage a complex caseload from assessment all the way through to discharge.
* Provide high-quality, evidence-based care aligned with national standards such as NICE guidelines.
* Uphold professional and legal accountability to HCPC and RCSLT standards and organisational policies.
* Offer specialist clinical advice to other healthcare professionals, including those less experienced in mental health or learning disabilities.
* Utilise the Trust’s Quality Improvement System to contribute to safety and quality improvements.
* Ensure all clinical activities are conducted professionally and legally, in adherence with the HCPC Code of Practice.
* Obtain informed consent before engaging in any clinical activities.
* Deliver individualised, high-quality specialist assessments, interventions, and follow up with progress evaluations.
* Develop and facilitate group sessions focused on enhancing communication and social skills.
