The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and technically minded UK Business Development Manager to lead direct sales and service support for textile machinery and autoclaves within the UK Market.
You will also support our principal partners – who are globally recognised manufacturers – in the sales and promotion of their machinery, acting as a local expert and point of contact for UK customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead direct sales of advanced dyeing solutions equipment, autoclaves, and related machinery to UK clients.
* Identify and develop new business opportunities in the UK markets across all company sectors.
* Provide first-hand responses on technical issues using the service team to assist, including machine demonstrations and site visits.
* Manage service contracts uptake and renewal liaising with the in-house service team.
* Support principal partners by promoting their products in the UK, attending meetings, trade shows, and providing customer feedback.
* Build strong relationships with new and existing customers to offer tailored solutions to support their needs.
* Collaborate with the international Business Development Manager to ensure alignment on Roaches global strategy, product knowledge and technical updates.
About You
* Experience in technical sales or machinery supply (ideally in textiles or a related manufacturing sector).
* Confident communicator with the ability to build long-term customer relationships.
* Commercially aware with a hands-on approach to solving technical challenges.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK.
* Self-motivated, organised, and capable of creating and managing your own schedule.
