About the Role:
Continuity of Care Services is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Complex Care Assistant to support our sociable and active 40s male client living with a severe traumatic brain injury. He enjoys activities at home such as his exercise bike, ball games, and sensory games. He likes listening to various music genres and audiobooks. You will provide companionship and emotional support, assisting with personal care and helping him prepare for a good night's sleep.
Our client's requirements include:
* Personal care
* Moving and handling
* Medication administration
* PEG Tracheostomy Catheter (training will be provided)
* Brain injury awareness (training will be provided)
* Basic household chores
Skills training specific to individual needs will be provided by Continuity Training Academy.
