Due to continued growth within our Capital Projects team, we are currently looking or a Project Manager in support of our Southern Water Contract. The nature of this role would require the successful applicant to travel to various southern locations. What we offer Salary: competitive based on salary Hours: Monday - Friday, 7.30 to 4.30 (due to the nature of this role, flexibility is required) Location: Leyland What you will get in return Holidays: 24 days plus bank holidays Pension Fund Company car / Car Allowance What you will be doing Responsibility for delivery of capital delivery programme and continuation of works over the following 3 years. Responsibility for Health and Safety, schedule compliance and liaising with commercial to ensure performance is achieved. Manage resources, assist with budget and financial performance of a portfolio of up to 40 projects. Define and drive the programme vision, goals. Align delivery with organisational strategy Establish robust governance and reporting in line with frameworks Lead risk, issue, and dependency management across multiple projects Engage with other senior members and provide clear, confident communication Ensure seamless transition of deliverables into business operations Champion continuous improvement and post-implementation reviews Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing programme team Experience and qualifications required for the role: Proven experience leading larger projects, high value or large programmes. Professional qualification and membership of the Association for Project Management (APM). A strong track record of managing complex, multi-disciplinary construction infrastructure projects. A degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
