Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced MEP Revit / CAD Technician to be part of an established team and business to build on our strong foundations and grow the business in a sensible pragmatic way in response to the needs of our clients and society. The role involves the production of deliverables in AutoCAD and Revit, developing and maintaining an established library of blocks and families, taking ownership of established CAD and Revit standards, and developing efficient methods of digital delivery. The role requires someone who can work autonomously but also collaborate effectively. A technical background and basic knowledge of MEP systems is necessary to facilitate efficient use of time. The role offers an opportunity to be an integral part of the growth of our consultancy teams and work closely with the design engineers. Key Responsibilities: * Act as the MEP Revit / CAD lead on projects covering Building Services, Decarbonisation and retrofit, and District Heat Networks, ranging from BSRIA 1-4. * Deliver outputs to the highest standard ready to be shared with clients to agreed deadlines, ensuring best practice is followed. * Develop and maintain an established library of AutoCAD blocks and Revit families. * Produce fully coordinated mechanical and electrical services models in line with BIM standards. * Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes * Exhibits and promotes an inclusive mindset in performing consultant responsibilities and in the support of colleagues throughout Elevate and externally. Requirements: * 3 years of experience in a similar role. * Excellent knowledge and skill in AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks are absolutely essential. * Proven track record of delivering similar outputs to agreed deadlines. * Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with experience working as part of a team. * Knowledge of industry standards and regulations including BSRIA BG6 and ISO 19650. * Knowledge of the construction sector, processes and procedures. * Experience in a Document Controller type role is preferred but is not strictly necessary * Experience or knowledge of implementation of automation, coding, app integration, and AI is preferred but is not strictly necessary. * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related field is preferred but is not strictly necessary. Other relevant experience would be considered.
