We are seeking a Fire Risk Assessor with some experience to join our client's expanding team.
You will conduct fire risk assessments across a variety of property types - from retail stores and distribution centres to offices and media facilities - providing clear, practical recommendations to help clients maintain compliance with UK fire-safety legislation.
Fire Risk Assessor job requirements:
* Deliver PAS 79-compliant fire risk assessments across commercial property portfolios
* Identify fire hazards, evaluate existing controls and produce detailed recommendations
* Prepare high-quality assessment reports supporting compliance with the Fire Safety Order
* Advise clients on fire-safety arrangements, evacuation planning, signage and remedial actions
* Collaborate with clients, facilities teams and internal specialists
* Maintain professional competence and contribute to service improvement

* Proven experience conducting fire risk assessments in commercial or multi-site environments
* Knowledge of UK fire-safety legislation
* Excellent analytical and written communication skills
* Confident working independently and managing multiple site assessments
