Café Associate Snow Mountain, LLC is located in the spectacular Lassen Volcanic National Park in California. As one of the country's oldest national parks, Lassen offers gorgeous hiking trails, picturesque lakes that afford fishing and kayaking, and cabins and campgrounds for the those that want to experience the rustic feel of the beautiful outdoors! Season: May 18, 2026 to Mid-October 2026 (depending on weather). Summary of Position: Responsible for preparing food and beverage items in accordance with recipes and established Company standards to deliver extraordinary hospitality. This position requires the flexibility to work in food preparation, packaging, cashiering and fulfilling beverage orders. Compensation: $16.90 per hour. Rental housing is available, double occupancy. Responsibilities: Assist the Location Manager and/or Cafe' Lead in ensuring that Food and Beverage items are prepared and served according to recipes and Company standards. Provide exceptional guest service. Clean and maintain all assigned areas throughout shift, keeping all “First Guest Fresh”. Work individually and with the team, to surpass expectations in an efficient, motivated and positive, can-do manner. Adhere to Company recipes and Safe Food Handling procedures. Complete all required food and safety logs in a timely and efficient manner. Adhere to Company Cash Handling Procedures. Position Requirements: Knowledge of food preparation, storage, sanitation and commercial kitchen equipment Obtain ServSafe and or State Food Handler Certification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with many types of personalities in a positive and productive way Majority of shift will be spent on feet in a fast-paced environment and in close proximity to other people Be available to work a variety of day, night, weekend and holiday shifts as requested. Ability to lift 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Frequent bending, twisting, lifting and squatting will be required. Knowledge and Experience: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Experience: Café experience (1 year minimum preferred) Customer service experience.
