Job Description
We’re looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to join a team based in Basingstoke, covering the local area and occasional wider travel. You’ll play a key role in delivering our new Health, Safety, and Wellbeing strategy, promoting safety leadership, and supporting a positive safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert health and safety advice and coaching to stakeholders to drive improvements.
* Review and update policies, procedures, and health and safety documentation.
* Lead and support incident management, including root cause analysis and preventative actions.
* Conduct audits and inspections, report findings, and assist with risk assessments.
* Lead projects and initiatives to improve health and safety performance.
* Design and deliver health and safety training and inductions.
* Offer advice on office health and safety, including Display Screen Equipment (DSE).
Requirements
* Relevant health and safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH General Certificate). Housing or construction experience/qualifications are a plus.
* Proven experience advising on health and safety in property or construction.
* Skilled in reviewing policies and leading incident investigations.
* Creative in developing training and engaging stakeholders.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Full driving licence and access to a vehicle, with willingness to travel.
