SEN Teaching Assistant – Barry – Start After Easter
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive school in Barry, starting after the Easter holidays.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and helping them reach their full potential in a nurturing school environment.
The Role:
Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional learning needs
Supporting children with SEN such as ASD, ADHD, or learning difficulties
Assisting the class teacher with adapting learning activities
Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
Helping pupils develop both academically and socially
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is desirable
Experience supporting SEN pupils is highly beneficial
A patient, caring, and proactive attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
