Our client, a small and friendly business located just outside Cirencester, is seeking a proactive and organised Administrative & Operations Assistant. This hands-on, varied role supports smooth running of office functions and on-the-ground operations, primarily focused on student property management and wider operational support.
They are a UK-based renewable energy company that has been operating since 2012. They specialise in providing comprehensive renewable energy solutions for domestic, commercial, and utility-scale clients. Their services encompass the entire lifecycle of renewable energy projects, from design and installation to maintenance and asset management.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform general office administration including handling calls, emails, filing, and data entry
2. Organise repairs and improvements to student properties
3. Liaise with contractors and tradespeople to coordinate maintenance and projects
4. Assist with the sale of vehicles and other assets, including photographing, listing, and managing enquiries
5. Help manage warehouse inventory and maintain accurate records
6. Provide operational support to directors across a range of projects
Required Skills and Experience:
7. Previous experience in administration or operations
8. Highly organised, practical, and self-motivated
9. Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
10. Full UK driving licence and own transport (due to rural location)
11. Friendly, reliable, and able to work well within a small team
