In-House Counsel
Bristol - Hybrid Working - 1 or 2 days per week onsite
Fantastic new permanent opportunity for an experienced In-House Counsel with this market leading software solutions / technology business who specialise within the financial services sector. They are currently seeking a commercially astute and proactive In-House Counsel to join their commercial team based in Bristol. This is a pivotal role within the business, providing legal support across a broad range of commercial activities, with a particular emphasis on contract negotiation and management. The successful candidate will work closely with the Group Commercial Director and cross-functional teams to ensure legal risk is effectively managed while enabling business growth.
Key responsibilities
1. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts, including software licensing agreements, supply of services agreements, data processing agreements and NDAs.
2. Provide strategic legal advice to internal stakeholders on contractual matters and commercial risk.
3. Support the business in managing legal aspects of technology-related agreements, including intellectual property matters and data protection compliance.
4. Assist in the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
