Our client, a leading company in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking an Elec/mech Prototype Technician for a contract position to support current projects. This is a 3-6 month contract with plenty of hours.
Key Responsibilities
* Performing electro/mechanical assembly tasks to support critical projects
* Creating and working on prototypes as required
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings accurately
* Maintaining high standards of quality and precision in assembly activities
* Collaborating with engineering and project teams to ensure timely project delivery
* Adhering to all safety protocols and quality standards
* Documenting assembly processes and reporting any issues or improvements
Job Requirements
* Experience of electro/mechanical assembly and wiring within defence or aerospace
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Proficiency in creating and working with prototypes
* High calibre assembly skills with a focus on detail and precision
* Understanding of safety protocols and quality standards in assembly work
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities
