We are looking for a Senior BIM Technician to join our Design Technical team in Sligo, and help deliver key infrastructure projects in the water sector. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is keen on innovation and emerging technology and wants to continuously improve their skills while using their initiative to support the team. Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed Revit models for various civil structures in the water sector. Create multi-discipline coordinated models, drawings, and schedules. Generate Revit and Civil 3D models from senior engineers' outputs. Manage clash reporting and coordinate with different disciplines to resolve clashes. Maintain ACC/BIM360 cloud models and reporting. Assist with the production of 2D coordination and construction drawings. Ensure compliance with project BIM documentation and use the latest models and designs from all stakeholders. Provide technical support to the project team. Attend weekly internal model, design team, and project BIM meetings with main contractors. Align design development with the project BIM execution plan and standards. Produce and maintain the Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP) throughout the project. Liaise between Civil & Structural Designers and Contractors. Integrate Cloud Point & Topo Surveys. Update and administer all coordination documents, registers, and drawings. Person Specification: A 3rd-level qualification in Engineering coupled with a BIM qualification. A minimum of 5 years of experience within a BIM coordination function. A background in Civil Engineering with a proven track record in a similar role. Extensive experience working with Revit on infrastructure projects, especially in civil and structures. Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and Autodesk Civil 3D is considered essential. Demonstrable experience with the BIM Framework and relevant ISO Standards. Experience with Common Data Environments (CDEs). Enhanced communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers, discipline leads, and project managers. Knowledge and understanding of other software platforms.
