Location: Merseyside
Rate of Pay: From £13 - £16 per hour based on experience
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday – hours will vary depending on the school
Duration: Short term temporary role initially, but will be reviewed periodically

Job Description:
Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and instructional activities.
Provide 1-2-1 or small-group support to students who need additional help.
Supervise students during class, transitions, lunch, break time, and other school activities.
Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
Prepare learning materials, resources, and classroom displays.
Support behaviour management including SEN strategies and reinforce classroom rules and expectations.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teacher.

Requirements:
Safeguarding level 1 certificate
Enhanced DBS
Experience with SEN preferred
Classroom management support
Organisation and time management
Adaptability and problem-solving
Teamwork and collaboration
Positive and encouraging attitude
Understanding of child development
