Dean Close School are looking to appoint a new Teacher of Information Technology (IT) for our school. This role is a full-time position and ideally, we would like the new candidate to start in April 2025 or September 2025. We are looking for an experienced IT teacher to delivery lessons for our students studying in GCSE and A-Level classes. Alongside teaching our students to our new OCR Level 2 and Level 3 standards, we would be looking for the successful candidate to become our ICT co-ordinator. Other roles and responsibilities include: To plan and deliver lessons to all age ranges and abilities from Year 9 up to A Level/Level 3. To motivate and engage students to reach their potential in Information Technology. To help run IT clinics outside of lesson times to support students needing extra help. The ability to inspire and teach pupils of different abilities and backgrounds in a co-educational context. To be responsible for a small tutor group, overseeing their personal development and progress across all subjects. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT teacher who is looking to support our IT department moving onto the next chapter as we look to offer more inclusive qualifications.
