Position: Chef de Partie

Location:The Oyster Catcher, Rhosneigr

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: £13.50 per hour, plus equal shares of gratuity and participation in our annual bonus scheme.

Hours: 48 hours per week

Start date:- Immediately

About the Role:

As a Chef de Partie atThe Oyster Catcher, Rhosneigr, you will play a pivotal role in our kitchen team, collaborating closely with the head chef to design, refine, and bring to life our seasonal menus. Your creativity will shine as you contribute to innovative dish development that delights our guests and showcases the best local ingredients.



Key responsibilities include:

Culinary Craftsmanship: Prepare and execute top-notch dishes that meet our high standards and enhance the overall dining experience.

Kitchen Leadership: Effectively manage a busy kitchen section, overseeing section orders, workloads, and maintaining our exacting standards.

Menu Development:Collaborate with the Sous Chef to create innovative daily specials that will continuously evolve our menu and culinary offerings.

Mentorship: Take charge of your kitchen section while working closely with junior team members, fostering their learning, development, and growth.

Culture of Kindness: Promote a supportive and kind workplace environment by leading by example and helping your colleagues flourish.

Compliance and Cleanliness: Assist in maintaining records, ensuring deep cleaning practices, and upholding health and safety procedures to keep our kitchen running smoothly.

Requirements

- Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant sector.

- Comprehensive understanding of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.

- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.

- Strong leadership qualities, capable of motivating and effectively supervising a team.

- Excellent organizational skills and a sharp eye for detail.

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
