Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Industrial Paint Supervisor to oversee intumescent coating repairs to structual steel for our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising painting teams, ensuring quality standards are met, daily/weekly reporting and maintaining safety protocols. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of intumescent coating processes, and familiarity with various tools and fabrication techniques.
Duties
* Supervise and coordinate daily industrial painting activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety regulations.
* Oversee preparation of surfaces, application of paints, coatings, and finishes using appropriate methods and equipment.
* Manage and train team members on the proper use of hand & power tools.
* Conduct quality inspections to ensure paint finishes meet company standards and client expectations.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and safety compliance documentation.
* Enforce health and safety policies, including the correct handling of hazardous materials and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Assist in planning work schedules and allocating resources efficiently for optimal productivity.
Qualifications/Experience
* CSCS/TTP
* SSSTS
* IPAF
* Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience
