Job Title: Health and Safety Assistant

Hourly Rate: £13.90 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time, Ongoing temporary
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm
Our prestigious client based in Nuneaton is seeking a Health and Safety Assistant to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide vital support within the Health & Safety function, ensuring compliance and promoting a safe working environment across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day general health and safety support and advice to employees and managers.
* Assist in the development and implementation of the health and safety management tool across all services.
* Support the preparation of training presentations on health and safety-related topics.
* Handle written enquiries, Freedom of Information requests, and invoicing, as directed by the Health and Safety Manager.
* Contribute to the creation, implementation, and monitoring of health and safety policies and procedures.
* Enter asbestos surveys into the Council’s asbestos management database and keep records updated following periodic re-inspections.
Key Skills & Experience
* Proven administration experience (essential).
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
