Do you love early years practice? A warm and forward-thinking Independent School in Manchester seeks an inspiring EYFS Teacher to join its Early Years team on a Full-Time basis from January 2026. The EYFS Teacher role at this Independent School blends play-based provision with intentional teaching: the EYFS Teacher will design environments that promote communication, physical development and early numeracy. The successful EYFS Teacher will begin induction before January 2026, take part in planning sessions in January 2026 and commence classroom duties from January 2026. Why this Independent School? From January 2026, the EYFS Teacher will have protected planning time and access to specialist resources that enhance learning. What the EYFS Teacher will do The EYFS Teacher will: plan and lead high-quality continuous provision; run daily phonics and language sessions; assess children against the Early Learning Goals and report progress to families. The EYFS Teacher will collaborate with teaching assistants, model excellent interactions, and contribute to transition work into Year 1. As EYFS Teacher, you will also lead parent workshops and participate in school events from January 2026. Person specification — the EYFS Teacher we want We are looking for an EYFS Teacher with QTS or EYTS, recent Early Years experience, and a creative, reflective approach. The EYFS Teacher will be nurturing, attentive to individual needs and eager to contribute to whole-school practice. Contract details This Full-Time EYFS Teacher position starts January 2026. The Independent School will provide induction in January 2026 and ongoing mentoring afterwards, ensuring the EYFS Teacher is supported throughout their first term.
