About the Job
This is a hands-on, project-focused role within the purchase ledger team, ideal for someone who enjoys improving processes, solving problems, and contributing to operational efficiency. You’ll play a key part in helping the department streamline its systems, support the wider finance team, and ensure the smooth running of supplier payments.
Duties will include:
1. Reconciling supplier statements across the group and bringing accounts up to date
2. Managing supplier queries via phone and email, building positive working relationships
3. Supporting the PO platform by identifying inefficiencies and recommending improvements
4. Assisting in process development and the implementation of best practices
5. Collaborating across the team and supporting junior colleagues as needed
6. Handling issue resolution with minimal supervision and ensuring long-term solutions
About the Successful Applicant
You will have at least five years of purchase ledger experience and be confident working with high volumes and tight deadlines. Strong Excel skills, great attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are key to success in this role.
