Purpose
The Shop Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the Ferndown retail shop, driving sales and profitability through effective stock management, community engagement, and team leadership. They ensure high standards of customer service and shop presentation, maintain compliance with administrative, financial, and security procedures, and uphold health and safety regulations. The role involves recruiting, training, and managing both paid staff and volunteers, fostering a motivated and well-informed team that supports Shaw Trust’s mission and values.
