This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic psychology graduate to join our Integrated Recovery Hub as an Assistant Psychologist on a full-time, permanent basis. The role is based in the borough of Richmond.
The successful candidates will join a very supportive Psychology & Psychotherapies team in Richmond and will receive weekly supervision to support them. The Assistant Psychologist role will provide psychological assessments and interventions and will co-facilitate psycho-educational groups, under the supervision of a qualified psychologist.
The role will also include supporting members of the team with audit and/or research projects, clinically relevant administration tasks, teaching and project work. They will also be responsible for maintaining databases and assisting with referral processes.

Key Responsibilities
* Attend weekly Psychology & Psychotherapies referrals meetings
* Attend and contribute to weekly multi-disciplinary team meetings
* Support psychology colleagues in the delivery and co-facilitation of psychoeducation groups
* Work jointly with team members where indicated
* Shadow assessment of patients on the waiting list and learn to carry out assessments, as appropriate
* Provide psychological assessments under supervision
* Provide low-intensity psychological interventions under supervision
* Assist in triaging referrals to psychology
* Contribute to the psychology waiting list management including following up with people on the list
* Contribute to the development of psychology information leaflets and orientation workshops
* Attend weekly supervision with a qualified clinical psychologist
* Assist with service development and quality improvement projects, as needed, Under appropriate supervision from a qualified clinical psychologist.
