About Hunter & Gather

Hunter & Gather are a multi award-winning, ancestrally inspired lifestyle brand.

We believe the conventional modern lifestyle is failing people. With poor mental health and chronic illness touching almost every household, it’s clear - it doesn’t have to be this way.

That’s where we come in.

At Hunter & Gather, we fuse ancestral wisdom with modern science to empower people to thrive. From real food and supplements - always free from refined sugar, grains, and inflammatory seed oils - to a warm, welcoming tribe and a wealth of accessible education, everything we do is designed to help people reclaim their health, one informed choice at a time.

The business is in an exciting phase of development with growth across its team, product range, sales channels and territories all expanding. There is a continued ambitious yet disciplined growth forecast, with plans to scale to £50m+ revenue within the next 3 years, having achieved a 2-year CAGR of 76% since 2023.

You’ll join a mission-led team passionate about championing real food and natural living, empowering people to live their best lives through honest ingredients and transparency.

Key roles and responsibilities:

Platform & Site Management

* Own the operation and optimisation of our Shopify stores across the UK & EU.

* Collaborate with developers and designers to maintain and evolve our themes, UX, and site features.

* Ensure all site functionality (e.g., checkout, navigation, subscriptions) is working flawlessly.

* Manage technical integrations (e.g., subscriptions, loyalty, reviews, email, 3PL tools).

* Liaise with third-party app providers, developers, and support teams to resolve bugs or explore new features.

Product, Content & Offer Management

* Maintain product listings: descriptions, pricing, images, metadata.

* Implement and test promotional offers, bundles, discounts, and gifting features.

* Own and update site content including landing pages, banners, blogs, FAQs, and legal pages.

* Build high-converting landing pages via Shopify and Replo (or similar tools).

* Set up and configure popups (e.g., email capture, exit intent).

CRO, SEO & UX

* Implement on-site SEO best practices across content and collections.

* Use tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Shopify Reports) to analyse performance and identify UX improvements.

* Support with A/B tests to improve conversion rates and average order value (AOV).

* Monitor site speed, accessibility, and mobile performance.

Collaboration & Strategy

* Work closely with CRM & marketing on campaign planning, email flows, and content needs.

* Contribute to the promotional calendar with ideas for offers and launches.

* Collaborate with customer service and fulfilment teams to ensure smooth customer experience and troubleshoot issues.

* Support the wider digital team with ad hoc requests, reporting, or tool evaluations.

* A solid understanding of technical ecommerce operations, site performance, and UX best practices.

* Experience with subscriptions and retention tools (e.g., Skio, Recharge, Loop).

* Strong skills in building and editing landing pages, content sections, and forms (e.g., via Shopify, Replo, Klaviyo forms).

* Working knowledge of basic HTML/CSS and Shopify Liquid (nice to have).

* A data-driven mindset and experience with GA4, Shopify reports, and CRO tools.

* Strong project management skills and comfort working with external developers/agencies.

Desirable

* Experience with health, wellness, food, or supplements ecommerce.

* Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo).

* Familiarity with SEO best practices, including keyword research and on-page optimisation, to support improved organic traffic.

* Passion or appreciation for health, wellness and fitness
