The opportunity
A fantatsic opportunity has opened up for an experienced Buyer/Business Administrator to become responsible for taking on Business Admin responsibilities, the role of a purchasing assistant would be split across the week (typically 3 days/week Business Admin, 2 days/week Purchasing).

Your duties and responsibilities will be
Purchasing
* Effectively manage a portfolio of suppliers to deliver items and services on time in full to cost and meeting IES quality requirements. Manage any issues that arise during the course of supply
* To support the Purchasing Manager in identification and delivery of purchasing cost reduction and supply chain improvement targets and to ensure suppliers are used in line with the agreed IES purchasing strategy
* Management of specific Suppliers and Purchasing Sectors
Business Admin
* Provide Business Administration for IES
* Produce weekly and monthly reports for the business, including producing monthly SHE stats for inclusion in Runcorn Site report
* Administer IES databases for SHE, Quality and Environmental auditing including arranging of yearly audit schedules
* Provide support for IES in administering the IES Customer Complaints database and associated KPI files
You will have the following qualifications & experience
* Strong problem-solving skills and concern for standards; effective communicator and good team player; well organised; self-motivated
* Good communication skills, via email, phone and in person
* Results Orientated, focussing attention on key objectives and priorities
* Experience of building and maintaining relationships across the business
* Experience with admin responsibilities
