About the School
This specialist community school is currently looking for a SEN Trainee Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis as soon as possible. The role is available due to a team member relocating. The school is a specialist local authority provision supporting 85 pupils with Autism and related needs, aged 4-19. It offers an inclusive, safe, and inviting environment where every child can achieve and succeed. The school has a dedicated leadership team with a clear vision and has recently been refurbished to include bright, open classrooms, therapy, and sensory rooms.
Role Description
As a Trainee Teacher, you will deliver high-quality, challenging, and differentiated educational activities and sensory experiences. You will teach a broad and balanced curriculum on a 1:1 basis and, in some cases, in small classroom settings. This is a two-year program where you will start as a 1:1 TA and develop your skills to become a qualified SEN teacher.

Candidate Requirements
* A creative, friendly, and resilient individual committed to supporting learners with SEN
* Experience working or volunteering with children or young adults (desirable)
* GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent
* Eligibility to work in the UK
