About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming Sixth Form College in the Fareham area. This is a full-time position starting in January and running until the end of March initially, with the possibility of continuing further for the right candidate.
You will be supporting students aged 16–19 with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), helping them access their courses and achieve their academic goals. The role also involves providing general classroom support and working closely with teaching staff to maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting EHCP students across a range of subjects
Providing 1:1 or small-group support as needed
Assisting teachers with adapting learning materials to meet individual needs
Encouraging independence, confidence, and resilience in learners
Helping maintain a calm, inclusive, and well‑organised classroom environment
