Key Responsibilities
As a D2A Care Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering compassionate and tailored care. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing Personalised Support: Deliver care that is specifically designed around each customer’s rehabilitation plan, treating every individual with dignity and respect.
Collaboration: Work alongside healthcare teams, including occupational therapists and hospital discharge teams, to assess and meet the rehabilitation needs of each customer.
Tracking Progress: Monitor and report on customer progress to ensure that rehabilitation goals are met in a professional and timely manner.
Encouraging Independence: Support customers in engaging with daily tasks and activities that promote physical, mental, and social well-being.

Your Day-to-Day Duties
Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, medication management, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
Safely use aids and equipment, respecting the customer’s dignity and preferences at all times.
Encourage customers to participate in physical and mental activities that aid their recovery.
Maintain clear, accurate records regarding customer care, changes in condition, and safeguarding matters.
Respect and protect customer confidentiality, ensuring their privacy is maintained at all times.

Salary & Benefits
Competitive annual salary of £27,040 per annum.
Travel allowance of 35p per mile.
Full training provided, ensuring you are well-equipped to deliver excellent care.
Overtime opportunities available.
A comprehensive support network to help you thrive in your role.
40 hours per week, with a rota that is discussed during the interview. This will include a mix of early and late shifts, as well as working every other weekend.
£350 referral bonus for recommending a friend.
