Join to apply for the Supply Chain Quality Engineer role at TieTalent. BAM Infrastructure is delivering a redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site located in Plymouth and we are seeking a Supply Chain Quality Engineer. Due to the site being a high-security military naval base, additional security checks will be required. These checks can take up to 8 weeks to process. Only candidates holding EU, NATO, 5 Eyes, or MISWG member passports and who have been a UK resident for the last 5 years can be considered for this role.

Your mission
* Undertaking initial assessments of potential supply chain organisations, including assessment/audit visits
* Reviewing supply chain ITPs
* Liaising between the KBJV supply chain and the Client regarding the timing of Hold and Witness inspections and Surveillance activities
* Inspecting works at notified points, conducting surveillances, and witnessing testing
* Assisting in the investigation of specific quality problems and participating in their resolution
* Attending quality meetings as required
* Presenting quality training modules to KBJV supply chain staff
* Carrying out other relevant duties from time to time
* Factory/facility visits to monitor Suppliers' performance against the ITP and the design
* Assisting in the creation and maintenance of supply chain maps
* Drafting regular surveillance reports and updating the project on supplier performance
* Ensuring data demonstrating the achievement of quality objectives and targets is produced and maintained
* Ensuring the KBJV QMS is robustly implemented
* Ensuring that supply chain partners maintain a robust documented Quality Management System
* Ensuring that quality meetings are held to maintain an excellent quality culture, with effective performance reporting and KPI tracking
* Assisting the development and implementation of contract-specific KPIs
* Assisting the construction team with the review and implementation of ITPs, quality plans, and NCRs/CARs/observations closeout in a compliant and timely manner
Who are we looking for?
* Academic Qualifications - Civil Engineering, Quality, Construction-related Qualification (HNC, BSc, MSc, BEng, MEng)
* CSCS - White PQP/AQP
* Experience of internal auditing/factory visits
