We're seeking a Contracts Manager to work closely with our operational teams to ensure services are delivered efficiently, safely, and profitably, while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities:
Contract & Client Management
* Lead the day-to-day management of allocated FM contracts.
* Act as the key client point of contact.
* Ensure contract KPIs and SLAs are consistently achieved, reporting performance data to clients and senior management.
* Conduct regular contract reviews with clients, preparing performance reports, financial updates, and improvement plans.
* Manage variations, renewals, extensions, and contract negotiations in collaboration with the commercial team.
* Identify opportunities for contract growth and additional services.
Commercial & Financial Oversight
* Monitor contract budgets and financial performance.
* Review and approve subcontractor and supplier costs in line with agreed frameworks.
* Ensure all works are delivered profitably and in accordance with company procedures.
* Provide commercial input into bids, tenders, and contract renewals.
Compliance & Assurance
* Ensure contracts are managed in line with company policies, ISO standards, and statutory requirements.
* Monitor and enforce compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
* Maintain accurate contract records, reports, and documentation.
* Support audits and ensure evidence of compliance is readily available.
Leadership & Collaboration
* Provide clear direction and support to staff involved in contract delivery.
* Promote a collaborative culture with operational teams to ensure seamless delivery.
* Ensure the team are working in the most efficient and productive way.
* Lead by example, promoting company values and high standards of service delivery.
Requirements for the role:
Essential:
* Strong knowledge of FM contracts, compliance requirements, and commercial management.
* Proven experience managing multi-site FM contracts with significant client interaction.
* Excellent understanding of KPIs, SLAs, and performance monitoring.
* Strong financial and commercial acumen, including budget management and cost control.
* Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, able to influence at all levels.
* Proficient in MS Office, SharePoint, and contract management/ERP systems.
Desirable:
* Experience managing MoD or security-sensitive contracts.
* IOSH Managing Safely (or willingness to achieve).
* Relevant professional/technical qualification (e.g. IWFM, RICS, CIPS, or equivalent).
* Experience of tendering and bid support.
