Teacher of Craft, Design & Technology, Winchburgh Academy, 35 hours per week, Permanent, Closing Date: 21st May 2025
Start Date: 11th August 2025 (subject to completion of all recruitment checks)
Winchburgh Academy is a new state-of-the-art secondary school that opened in August 2022, designed to promote twenty-first century learning through creativity and digital technologies. The school features sports facilities of the highest standard, including sports halls, a 25m swimming pool, and artificial grass outdoor pitches.
The school initially opened with a S1 cohort, with expected year-on-year growth to reach a capacity of 660 pupils by 2028. In August 2025, the student roll is anticipated to be around 260 students (S1-S4). A future expansion plan considers increasing capacity up to 1,210 pupils. The school will have approximately 20 teaching staff in August 2025.

A relevant teaching qualification and registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland are essential.
