Location: Multiple Secondary Schools in Peterborough
Pay Rate:
1. Exam Invigilator: £11.50 per hour
2. Lead Invigilator: £13.50 per hour
Contract Type: Casual, term-time only
Exam Seasons:
3. May to June (Main Exam Season)
4. November, February, March, and May (PPEs)
5. Ad hoc formal exams throughout the academic year
We are seeking reliable and professional Exam Invigilators and Casual Lead Invigilators to oversee exam sessions in secondary schools across Peterborough. You will ensure exams are conducted according to the required regulations, providing a calm and supportive environment for students.
Responsibilities:
6. Setting up exam venues by laying out the necessary materials.
7. Supervising students during exams to ensure compliance with exam regulations.
8. Assisting students with any queries during the exam.
9. Collecting and securing exam papers after the exam.
10. Reporting any irregularities or misconduct.
11. As a Lead Invigilator, you will also manage a team of invigilators, ensuring smooth running of the exam process.
Requirements:
12. Strong attention to detail and reliability.
13. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
14. Ability to remain calm under pressure.
15. Previous experience in an educational setting is advantageous, but not required.
16. For Lead Invigilator roles, prior experience in a supervisory role is preferred.
