CNC Setter/Operator (MK1) - Night Shift
Competitive hourly rate from £19.99 per hour (including 30.5% shift allowance) depending on skills in line with Grading Structure.

Shift
Night Shift: Sunday to Thursday 10 pm to 6 am including a 15 minute paid break and a half hour unpaid break - basic 37.5 hours per week.
Essential Functions
The key activities outlined below represent an overview only of the position of CNC Setter/Operator based on site at the Leicester Plant and should not be seen as a prescriptive list of activities. A flexible and responsive approach to this role is vital, together with the initiative in identifying and focusing on the needs of the business and its customers.
- Set, Fault Find & Operate machines to produce fasteners to strict tolerances.
- In process deburring and Self Inspection
- To use gauges and measuring equipment to ensure product meets required specifications.
- Self-certification of personal work.
- To prove out downloaded programs so they are in line with the correct timings in accordance with our manufacturing and quality standards and then to upload the proven program.
- Keep all computer files and manual paperwork accurate and up to date at all times.
- Responsible for producing SPC charts and records.
- Ensure housekeeping is maintained to the highest standards.
- Ensure all quality procedures are adhered to, taking an active part in root cause analysis.
General Company Support
- Undertake to train on all machines to ensure 100% flexibility in the workplace, and once fully trained to train others.
- To actively take part in locally focused, or multi-functional continuous improvement teams.
- Work as fully flexible team member within the Company to maximize levels of production and quality.
- Maximize plant and resource utilization.

Qualifications
Education, Experience & Background
- Experience of working within a busy Manufacturing environment.
- Experience setting CNC Machines preferably DMG/Mori/CMZ/Doosan with fanuc/sieman controls
- Aerospace experience would be advantageous.
